Vladan Glišić, one of the leaders of the ultra-right-wing movement „Dveri”, which will take part at the upcoming parliamentary elections, in today’s daily “Kurir” in a column “Face to face”, presented a brief pre-election program of his movement whose basis include: law for the protection of over-indebted families, law for investigating the origin of property of all politicians and tycoons since 1989 to date and a permanent ban of the gay parade in Serbia.

Unlike Suzana Grubješić, the Vice president of the United Regions of Serbia (URS), who last week at a debate organised by Istinomer said she has nothing against gatherings such as the Pride Parade if these gatherings are peaceful, her party colleague Verica Kalanović, also the Vice president of URS, said yesterday at a campaign rally in Kuršumlija, that URS is explicitly against the Pride Parade.

Branko Ružić: The LGBT community has more supporters than they realise

In an interview for the latest issue of the weekly “Vreme” Branko Ružić, a president of the Executive Committee of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and Minister without portfolio in charge of EU integration, mentions the LGBT community and says he doesn’t see a problem in advocating their rights and universal values that are part of a regulated world.  A team of a campaign “Your vote, your tomorrow” which is conducted by the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA; Alliance) asked Branko Ružić to tell something more about his attitude towards human rights of the LGBT community in Serbia and what are in his opinion priorities in this area.
